Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!

Hi,

It been a while since I wrote last. Almost 6 weeks has been passed and as usual a lot have happened. Mummy's tummy has grown really big lately and her weight too. :-)

When she first found out about me she was around 49kgs, today this Christmas morning, 26 weeks in to her pregnancy, she weighed herself and the scale stopped at around 59 kgs. So she have gain 10kgs in 6 months. I wonder how much she will weigh at the end of the pregnancy.

More interesting thinks that is happening is that I'm kicking a whole lot more now. And my kicks are getting stronger and stronger. Sometimes my kicks are so strong that it feels very uncomfortable for mummy, she is describing it like the whole tummy is shaking around.

I give mum my super kicks when she sleeps on her sides.

"Mum....I'm so sorry but it's very uncomfortable for me when you are sleeping sideways!!!"

Actually even daddy is feeling my movement inside. I can feel that dad want me to come out and play with him. "Sorry daddy, it's to comfortable in here right now, give me another 3 month and I will come out and play with you and mummy".

Mummy have also started with some pre-natal yoga. She goes to yoga class 2 times a week.She is hoping that it will help her during labour. But we will see about that, it all depends how I feel that day and if I want to cooperate :-P



The last visit to doctor Mok was about 2 weeks ago and he said I'm growing as normal and that everything was look good. Mummy and daddy even got to know what gender I am.Dr. Mok said that I got one "line" between my leg. Can you guess?

My very first trip!!

Hi hi all my lovely readers!

Mummy and daddy have together with my grandparents from Sweden taken us on a trip around China. We went to Hangzhou, Suzhou, Shanghai plus an another place but I don't know the name of the city in English. Mummy have done plenty of exercises this couple of days. With her running around in China doing all the sightseeing have maid me very dizzy inside the tummy, so when mummy decided she wanted to rest I decided to kick her and tell her that enough is enough.
But of course she had to continue so during the evening back at the hotel I decided to really show her who the boss is! I kicked her at least 3-4 times, even dad came forward and tried to calm me down, but did I listen.....of course NOT!! Mum also got some muscle cramps during the night but mum, I did not do anything, I promise!

Yesterday it was time for another monthly check up with Dr. Mok.
He said that I have really grown big this couple of weeks.
This time mum really wanted to know if I am a girl or a boy, so I decided to show her. =)
But for some strange reason mum did not see anything. "Mum, you need to get a pair of glasses"! The doctor told us what dad wanted to hear, but Dr. Mok was not 100% sure, that's why we decide to keep it a secret for now.

It's time for a small update.
Couple of weeks have gone since I wrote last time. Small but interesting things have happened.

On the 16th of October it was time for another check up. It was first schedule on the 19th, same day daddy was suppose to go to Sydney . But mummy didn't want daddy to stress around that day so they decide to go couple of days earlier. The doctor did some measure of my head and legs. Not the biggest in the world but well within the normal limits. My head is about 35mm in diameter and my thigh bone is also 35mm.

Mummy was hoping with this little visit that she would be able to find out if I'm a little girl or a boy. But as I am; a happy little kid that would love to keep secrets for myself I did everything stopping the doctor from finding out. Hihi better luck next time =P

Something funny happened yesterday. I think I kicked mummy on the tummy.

She felt something strange kicking from the inside.

A Little interview with mummy!

A small interview I did with mummy around week 6, sorry but it's in Swedish :P

När blev du gravid med mig mamma?- Sista mensen kom den 23 juni 2009 så jag måste blivit befruktad runt början av Juli hahaha....kanske du är "made in Vietnam" då vi var där på semester med familjen.

När dick du reda på att du var gravid?- Den 29 Juli, samma dag gjorde vi 3 graviditet tester hemma som alla visade samma resultat - positivt!!

Var det planerat?- Ja det var det! Har velat ha bebis sedan April 2009 då jag slutade med p-piller.

Blev det en chock?- Jag kände på mig att något inte stämde då mensen var sen ca 10 dagar. Inte nog med det så svettades jag mycket under nätterna även med luft konditionering på, vilket aldrig har hänt förr. Lite chockad blev jag ändå, över att jag blev gravid så snabbt då jag trodde att det skulle ta längre tid för mig då jag ätit p-piller. Men lyckades på 3:e försöket (månanden)!!!

Hur gammal e du mamma?- Jag e 22år men blir 23 när du föds.

Har du fått några graviditets symptomer?- Ohh yeah! I början vid vecka 5 hade jag inga symptomer alls, då blev lite fundersam om jag verkligen var gravid, så då önskade jag att jag skulle få känna lite illamående för att få bekräftat att allt stod rätt till. Men jag skulle nog aldrig har önskat det. Hahaha.....runt vecka 6 så gav du mig en massa symptomer och kroppsförändringar...ex

- Illamående
- Kraftigt nedsänkt aptit, åt jätte lite, mindre än ett 5 årigt barn
- Huvudvärk
- Ömma bröstvårtor
- Brösten börjar växa
- Mycket kväljningar
- Gaser i magen vilket förklarar varför jag går och rapar hela tiden!
- Förstoppningar
- Finnar pga den ökade hormon koncentrationen
- Har ingen midja längre haha
- Torrt och risigt hår
- Bristningar
- Hormonrand i magen
- Spytt 1 gång (det tackar vi för)
- Känslig doftsinne, så fort jag känner den minsta lilla doften så får jag kväljningar
- Det jag gillade att äta förr t.ex "Yum Chan" och Aubergine gryta tycker jag inte alls om nu, och det jag inte tyckte om äta förr tar jag gärna en extra tallrik nu t.ex Curry
- I början kunde jag knappt resa mig ur sängen så din pappa fick mata mig.
- Supertrött: I början hade jag sömnproblem men nu sover jag som en gris. Jag kan ex gå och lägga mig kl 24 och vaknar inte förrän kl 14 för att sedan äta lite och sedan somna igen från 15-19, sedan äta middag och lägga mig runt 24. hahaha vilken gris va!!!....
- Går på toaletten jätte ofta, minst en gång i kvarten

Även om vissa symptomer är jobbiga så känns det ibland underbart då man inte alltid ofta är gravid!

Vill du att jag ska vara en pojke eller flicka?- Från hjärtat det spelar ABSOLUT ingen roll så länge du e frisk och glad så blir jag och din pappa lycklig! Jag vet ännu inte könet på dig men jag har en känsla av att du blir en liten flicka då jag hela tiden drömmer om det!! Hihih....åhh LÄNGTAR!!!!!

On the 13th week or 12 weeks and 3 days....

Hi all,

I have finally decide to take it easy and become a calm and nice little kid.....for now.
Mummy and daddy just went to the hospital to do the monthly check up and where they surprised!! Last time they saw me, I was about 22,2mm and guess how big I'm now??



Yes, I'm more then double the size. A whole 55,5mm and mummy have gained 3Kg!!
I showed mummy and daddy some kung-fu moves and doctor Mok let them listen to my little heart beats. Doctor Mok also said that I just passed my first trimester which means that I'm stable and healthy so my parents can finally relax after all the time I have maid them worried about me. hihihi :P

But mummy still do not want to tell her relatives and friends, she actually wants to surprise them when she gets back to Sweden with a GIGANTIC tummy in November.
Even though she does not say anything people on the street starts noticing that her tummy is bigger then normal. Can you see the different??



Anyway, other good news is that mummy is feeling much better and her appetite have actually decide to comeback, so I can finally get some more food!!! JIIIPPPPI

In the next check up which is in 4 weeks, I'm about 16 weeks old and maybe they will find out what sex I am. Until then you can always guess!!!

Week 9 - a naughty naughty little kid....

Hi again...

It have been almost 3 weeks since I last blogged and I can assure that I'm growing very fast. Yeaaah!!! You can always guess how long I'm now...(answer is in the picture below).


A lot have happened the last 3 weeks. Specially to my dear mummy.
In the beginning before she found out that I was on my way. She didn't feel much pregnancy symptoms except that she was, as mummy like to describe it "sweating like a PIG" during night times...and that even with AC on maximum. Poor dad, who was freezing his balls off.....haha =-)
Anyway, after the happy news she still didn't have much of a symptoms except small pain like during periods, was very tried and her appetite was not as good as before but she could still eat a little bit.

But around the end of weeks 6...."hell broke lose". The funny part is actually how mummy didn't feel anything in the beginning of that week. She actually wished that she would have some sort of illness just to be sure that she was still pregnant. Now she wish that she never thought that.
Because....her illness came very suddenly and decide to stay. At first just during lunchtime and afternoons but now, morning, lunchtime, afternoon, evening, night...you name it. As like that wasn't enough, she can not longer eat, sleep, shit (like a normal person), she has headaches and goes for a wee-wee every 15minutes. She has nausea all the time but lucky enough she have only thrown up once. Her nose has become better then a bloodhound, and all the different smells just gives her nausea. She now walk as fast as a 90-year old lady and also feel like one. Plus her worst fear is back, acne!!!

If you look at mummy's body like daddy likes to do....naked....you can see her breast, butt and tummy are growing (of course...daa).



Anyway, last weekend I gave mummy and daddy a small surprise so they had make a visit at the ER. But everything was normal. I just like to be a naughty kid sometime. hihihi!
The doctor told her to rest and hold off on the Sweden trip so that is why we can not go back to Sweden in September. =-(

We also did a normal checkup the following day with a specialist. And I showed mummy and daddy what a good heart beat I have.

Anyway....until next time..

Around week 6 +/-5 days

Mummy has just been to the hospital for a checkup this passed Saturday.
I'm really starting to grow in mummy's tummy.
The x-ray are showing that I'm around 6mm long now. hihihi



And of course the bigger I get the worse mummy feels.
She can't sleep during night time and have totally lost her appetite, even her favorite Yum Cha Restaurant in Hong Kong have become her worst nightmare.
All she thinks about right now is Swedish candy specially "Sura S" and Swedish liquorice.
Hopefully she can get some candy when mummy and daddy goes back to Sweden at the end of September.

And then I will be in Sweden for the very first time. Yippi

Week 5 - and so the story begins......

Hello everyone!!!

When you read the title of this blog you probably already know whats going on!

Yeah!!!....you guessed absolutely right!!!

Me, baby Meatball are on my way....so watch out dude!!!!

Mummy Trinh and daddy Martin aka Meatball discovered me when mummy's period decided not to show up! Darn you "period"....It was supposed to be a secret.

Anyway the whole thing started on the 29 of July 2009, when daddy had just come back from Sydney. Mummy felt that something wasn't right, so they decided to do a pregnancy test.

The funny thing is that, when they did the test mummy said "I'm not pregnant, I can only see one line", then daddy immediately corrected her and said "eeee....but I can see the other line also". Mummy and daddy are just to funny sometime. Anyway my parents wanted to be really sure so they decided to another 2 test which gave the same results.

Daddy??!! Doesn't the pregnancy test say that they are more then 99% accurate??? But I can understand their excitement, after all I'm there very first child.

So, the very next day daddy decided to take mummy and me to the St. Paul Hospital for a checkup. When the doctor could not find me through the ultra sound, mummy got really worried.

Mummy I'm just 5 weeks old, U can't find me yet!!!

Anyway they took a blood test this time. And the HCG hormone test came back with a much higher level then normal which means that I'm in there somewhere.

Now they know for sure that I'm on my way.

And mummy, sorry for last night, I know that you had a very strong back pain and couldn't sleep very well. But you know what, you need to make some more room for me now on!
